Rewind is free to play for personal entertainment. Witsday (“we”) runs it at witsday.com, and by playing you agree to these simple terms.

The facts

Every answer is researched and double-checked against public sources, and each one links to a source. We still make mistakes sometimes: if you spot one, use the “Report” link next to the answer and we’ll fix it quickly. The game is provided as is, without warranties of any kind.

Names and brands

Puzzles mention real places, people, products and organisations as facts. All trademarks belong to their owners. Rewind isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.

Fair use of the game

• Share your results and challenge links as much as you like.
• Please don’t copy or republish the puzzles, or scrape the site.
• Don’t use the game to break the law or to harm others.

Accounts and leaderboards

Accounts are optional and for ages 13 and up. Pick a leaderboard name, and name any group you start, so that it isn’t offensive and doesn’t pretend to be someone else: we may change or remove names that are. We may also remove scores that look automated or that break these terms. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

Pro

Pro is an optional subscription: see what it adds and what it costs. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, the merchant of record for all our orders. Paddle takes the payment, handles tax, receipts and returns, and sells under Paddle’s buyer terms. Pro renews until you cancel. You can cancel any time from Manage Pro and keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. You can have a full refund within 14 days of any payment: see the refund policy. Pro never changes rankings: everyone plays the same puzzles.

Changes

We may update the game and these terms from time to time. If you keep playing after a change, the new terms apply.
